However, the law states that a foreigner may apply for TRP again only after 1 year from the cancellation or refusal of issuance of the TRP. Therefore, if you are considering this option, then after receiving a decision to cancel your temporary residence permit, you will need to leave Russia and, if you want to return, live for the next year on a visa and only then reapply for a temporary residence permit. What does the law say about changing the region in which a temporary residence permit is valid? This is possible in two cases: 1. You were originally granted a temporary residence permit on the basis of marriage to a Russian citizen, and your Russian spouse is changing their place of residence 2.
