It's always seemed amazing to me — I have so many friends who run businesses in some unconventional niche, have a team of literally three people, make millions of dollars, and spend a couple of hours a day working on their computer or phone. And there's zero competition in their niche, like none at all. Everyone knows each other by heart, and at the same time the market is beautiful in terms of revenue.
But at the same time there are literally millions of marketplace sellers and just as many bloggers who, like freelancers, make ten thousand dollars max, or even less, buried so deep in operations as if they held a key position in state-level corruption or at a bank.
Humans are an amazing creation — how alike we are, and yet how different our brains and thought processes are. Some people think about how to put satellites into Earth's orbit so the whole planet has internet, when we'll finally fly to Mars, and how to make space flight cheaper using stages that return to Earth, all while simultaneously building an electric car company. And others spend half their life not knowing what to do with themselves, because work is somehow boring, everything around them is dull, and the only thought in their head is what tasty thing to eat and how to kill the evening on the weekend — and so it goes for a lifetime…

I was reading your comments and questions about issuing a Binance card, ByBit cards + a neobank with Apple Pay integration 🎁
To issue the card, your account region needs to be set accordingly — mine is Armenia and Kazakhstan. You also need to verify a phone number from these countries.
Last year, when I attended Astana Hub by invitation (as media/press), Pavel Durov was speaking, and Nurlan Saburov was the host. During the couple of months I spent in Kazakhstan, my friends helped me sort out the necessary paperwork for our company. I even have a post about it, thanking the capital's judges, the Prosecutor of Kazakhstan, and the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the Baikonyr district of Astana for their help in obtaining the relevant documents.
Thanks to that, I now use not only the Kaspi ecosystem, but also the Freedom platform by banker Timur Turlov 💰

The world is now moving toward being split into two kinds of highly intelligent beings, namely AI robots and humans. And globalization & capitalism are turning our humanity into a single living organism, striving to conquer the Universe, starting with our Solar System.
🐶 And in this regard, I like how Sam Altman, the new messiah of the human race, is acting right now, standing shoulder to shoulder with Musk and Dario Amodei. I'm especially impressed by OpenAI's subsidiary that launched World ID and World App (somewhat reminiscent of what the Durovs wanted to do with Telegram, before they got distracted by crypto, women, and politics).
The new Money project, funded with ChatGPT cash, has a pretty curious tagline: a financial "superapp for humans", bundling stablecoins, international transfers, investments, Earn programs, and virtual accounts. All of this feels like a dispatch from the future, where the world is already split between living beings with a soul who've passed biometric verification, and AI humanoids with a GPU under the hood instead of a heart.

Starting in October, AI and Web3 conferences in the UAE kick off gradually 🇦🇪
I rarely attend any conferences these days, unlike in previous years when it was something of a trend. I've lost interest in such mass events. What inspires me more now are closed clubs and private gatherings — the kind you won't find anything about online, and where you can only get an invite from other community members.
Still, I'll be at a couple of public events: at the end of November, invited by CMS CardOS, and in the first half of December ➡️ at Blockchain Week.

Interesting read, check out this post, it's long but worth it. It might make you rethink some of your values.
And ask yourself: what are you working for, living for, right now? And if tomorrow were the last day of your life, could you say you have no regrets, and state with confidence that you've spent it doing your life's true work?

According to science, one of the most effective ways to get what you want lies in building alignment at the identity level.
Identity is an actual neural network called the default mode network. It serves as the brain's operating system and constantly maintains an internal narrative about who a person is and what they deserve.
The mechanism of self-verification theory confirms that the psyche places consistency above benefit and always seeks confirmation of the familiar self-image. If external achievements sharply deviate from the internal setting, a thermostat effect kicks in, returning the system to its habitual state through self-sabotage and cognitive dissonance.
Results match personality because of the mechanisms of selective attention and predictive coding.
The brain physically filters the stream of information through the model of the self, which is why opportunities that don't match the current role remain literally unnoticed.
Through predictive coding, the brain predicts reality based on the self-image and adjusts attention to match this forecast. This forms a self-fulfilling prophecy, where automatic behavior triggers the expected reaction from the world and ultimately cements the current identity. Changing the self-model happens through a combination of truthful actions and detailed work with imagination.
Since a detailed internal simulation is often indistinguishable from reality for the brain, it allows the self-model to be rewritten, bypassing the critical filter. The brain is finally convinced of the changes when self-perception theory takes effect.
The psyche observes real micro-steps taken from the new role and draws conclusions about who the person has become. Gradually, such repeating signals strengthen the brain's neural circuits and make the new outcome a natural consequence of the personality.

Every time you start working with a new contractor or a young entrepreneur, or with an "opinion leader" suffering from poor-blogger syndrome, you immediately recall the now-iconic phrase: The smaller the business, the more "general" the general director.

Humanity uses only a negligible fraction of the Sun's energy reaching Earth (about one five-hundred-millionth). To reach even one millionth of the Sun's energy available on Earth, we'd need to boost the current share by three orders of magnitude. That's an incredibly tough challenge, comparable to trying to climb out of "one hell of a deep gravity well."
In a world where AI will surpass human intelligence and humanoid robots become the norm, the question of universal basic income arises. It won't be so much about redistributing money as about universal basic access to goods and services, since robots will be able to produce everything we need.
