The Jerusalem Post reports that Israeli intelligence had identified an alleged Iranian assassination plot, with suspected Iranian operatives believed to have been conducting surveillance in the Miami area. Yair was reportedly ordered to leave immediately and departed without collecting his belongings. However, the Shin Bet’s public statement confirms the serious threat and evacuation but does not itself publicly identify Iran as responsible. 🇫🇮🇮🇱 Finland quietly extended military cooperation with Israel for another decade Finland and Israel signed a 10-year memorandum on defense-material cooperation, extending the arrangement through 2034, according to an investigation published by Finnish public broadcaster Yle. The agreement covers cooperation in the research, development and procurement of military equipment. The Finnish Defense Ministry did not publicly announce the agreement. Finland proposed extending the arrangement in early 2024, while the war in Gaza was already underway. Previous versions of the agreement ran for five years; this time Helsinki sought a 10-year term.
