The Ghana Police Service has announced that it will begin the full implementation of its automated traffic enforcement programme, TRAFFITECH-GH, from October 1, 2026. The system will use cameras and Personal Data Assistant (PDA) devices to detect traffic offences, with Electronic Notices of Violation sent to vehicle owners or drivers via SMS.
