The graduation ceremony of the Preparatory Faculty of HSE University took place at the Cultural Center on Pokrovsky Boulevard. The year is behind us - Russian has been mastered, all exams are passed! ☺️ At the cozy graduation party, the students enjoyed cultural activities organized by their beloved teachers: 🤩made Cheburashka figurines 🤩sang iconic Russian songs with a guitar 🤩created souvenir accessories 🤩learned a lot of new things about our language A warm atmosphere and smiles - that's what everyone loves the Preparatory Faculty for. An entire year - a little life. 🕊️ The most important part lies ahead - studying in the main degree programme. Please note that the dormitory check-in for international students recommended for a full scholarship is only possible after successfully completing the in-person enrollment procedure. This year the in-person enrollment in Moscow is scheduled from August 20 to 31. On the day of your successful enrollment, you will receive a referral for check-in to one of the HSE University dormitories. ❗️❗️❗️ The 'Gosuslugi RuID' app to become mandatory for visa-free foreign citizens starting July 1, 2026 Effective July 1, 2026, a new rule requires all visa-free foreign citizens to use the "Gosuslugi RuID" mobile app when entering Russia. Applications must be submitted at least 72 hours before arrival. Exemptions apply to Belarusian citizens, children under 6, diplomats, service passport holders, and official delegation members. Starting July 1, 2026, all foreign citizens entering Russia visa-free will be required to use the "Gosuslugi RuID" mobile application. How to Avoid Issues When Entering Russia To ensure a smooth entry without delays, please keep these critical points in mind: 1️⃣ Passport Validity: Your passport must be valid for at least 6 months from your date of entry into Russia. 2️⃣ Gosuslugi Portal or App Technical Issues: The portal and app may experience high traffic during peak periods, which could require additional identity verification. We recommend that you: ✅ Register on the Gosuslugi portal well in advance. ✅ Install the "Gosuslugi RuID" app early, rather than at the last minute. 3️⃣ Application Deadline: You must submit your application at least 72 hours before entry. Spontaneous trips without prior registration may result in border issues. 4️⃣ Data Errors: Any inaccuracy (e.g., incorrect date of birth or passport number) will result in a denial of entry. Double-check all filled fields thoroughly before submitting. 5️⃣ Border App Access Issues: If you lose access to your smartphone or cellular connection, print out your received QR code on paper in high quality. ❗️ Important: Stay informed about immigration law changes and regularly check for updates on the official Gosuslugi portal.
